Our Story

Local Family Farm

Will has spent his life farming Jersey cows at Gwavas Jersey Farm, weathering the many changes and challenges that come with modern agriculture. Through it all, the farm has remained at the heart of everything we do—a place shaped by care, resilience, and a deep connection to the land. Our small herd of Jersey cows continues to graze here, at the centre of a way of life rooted in working gently and respectfully with nature.

Over time, the farm has evolved alongside us. In the summer months, we welcome guests to our low-impact campsite, and more recently we have opened our B&B. These are a natural extension of everything we believe in—an opportunity to share a slower, more connected way of life, shaped by the changing seasons and the gentle rhythms of the land.

We passionately believe in living alongside nature, rather than trying to control it. By keeping our impact light and allowing parts of the land to grow wild, we create space for life to flourish. Butterflies drift through the long grass, birds circle and settle, and wildlife is something we encounter every day—not because it is curated, but because it belongs here just as much as we do.

This land is more than where we work—it is what inspires us. Everything we do is guided by a deep-rooted love for Gwavas and a genuine desire to care for it, so that it can continue to thrive and be shared for years to come.
