Get to Know
Our Cows (and other animals!)
Cows
Our cows are pasture fed, grazing the fields as much as the weather will allow – and because we are in such proximity to Britain’s most southerly point this can be up to ten months of the year.
Goats
Barney and Fred, our resident pygmy goats, are always glad for a fuss and a cuddle - but don't wear your florals, as they also love a snack!
Cats
We have two friendly cats, lovingly referred to as 'boy cat' and 'girl cat' by Will. You can also call them by their actual names, Foxy and Gypsy!
Dogs
Our four dogs do what they can to help - although our 10 year old Labrador seems to have decided on an easy retirement. Her protege, Zippy, on the other hand is hyperactive; if a small white dog tags along with you as you walk the South West coast path - that'll be Zippy!
The Flock
You may wake up to the dulcet tones of Gary the goose, or perhaps Woody, the cockerel who loves to welcome each new day. Meet Phil, the duck who is convinced he’s a chicken, or collect eggs from our friendly rescue hens.
